Successful Client Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Successful Client LLC ("Successful Client," "we," "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you visit successfulclient.com, use the Chaos Tax Calculator, book a call, or otherwise contact us. By using these services, you agree to this policy.

Successful Client LLC is a New Hampshire limited liability company. You can reach us by email at shaneh@successfulclient.com. Your information is never sold, rented, traded or given away.

Information we collect

We collect only what you give us and basic technical data needed to run the site.

• Contact details: your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, company name and role, entered on our forms, the Chaos Tax Calculator, or when you book a call.
• Business information: answers you give in the Chaos Tax Calculator, such as revenue, number of clients, average client value, team size, employee costs, sales and delivery metrics, and your ratings of how your business operates. These are your estimates about your business, not personal financial information.
• Your consent choices: whether you agreed to be contacted by phone, text and email, and when.
• Booking information: details you provide when scheduling a call through our scheduling tool.
• Communications: messages, emails and texts you send us or reply to.
• Technical data: information your browser sends automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Calculate and show your Chaos Tax results, and email you a copy of your report
• Follow up with you about your results by phone, text or email, if you agreed to be contacted
• Schedule and hold calls you book with us, including the SCALE Diagnostic review
• Answer your questions and provide services you request
• Improve the Chaos Tax Calculator, our website and our services, including by reviewing results in aggregate
• Keep our site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and meet legal obligations

We do not use your Chaos Tax Calculator answers for any purpose other than those listed here, and we treat them as confidential.

Text messages

If you check the consent box on our forms, you agree to receive text messages from Successful Client about your results, your booked calls and our services, at the mobile number you provided.

• Consent is not a condition of using the Chaos Tax Calculator or buying any service.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or email shaneh@successfulclient.com.
• We do not share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every type of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third party.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How we share information

We never sell, rent, trade or give away your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

• Service providers who help us run our business and act on our instructions, such as our website and hosting providers, Google Workspace (email and the spreadsheet where submissions are stored), and our scheduling tool. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, safety or property, or that of others.
• Business transfers: if Successful Client is merged, acquired or sells its assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, under this policy.
• With your permission: in any other case, only if you ask us to or agree.

None of this sharing includes your mobile number or text messaging consent, as described above.

Cookies and analytics

Our site may use cookies and similar tools to keep it working, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, usually for as long as we have a business relationship with you and up to three years after our last contact, unless the law requires longer. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards, such as access controls and encrypted connections, to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

• Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
• Texts: reply STOP.
• Access, correction or deletion: email shaneh@successfulclient.com to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We will respond within 30 days.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. Contact us and we will honor them as required.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child gave us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site or sent to you by email.
